Yes. First-time SpotHero users can get 10% off their first parking reservation, up to $5 off, by entering the new-customer promo code at checkout in the SpotHero app. The code is single-use, app-only, and excludes monthly parking and SpotHero for Business reservations.
Is there a SpotHero student discount?
Yes. Students in full-time education aged 16 and over can get 10% off a single reservation, up to $10 off, through Student Beans verification. The discount is available to both new and existing SpotHero users and is not valid on Business Profile bookings.
Can I cancel a SpotHero parking reservation for a full refund?
Yes. Most reservations can be canceled for a full refund up until one minute before they begin, via the app, website, or self-service phone system. Reservations purchased on partner websites are non-refundable. Event package cancellations require contacting the Customer Hero team before the first reservation starts.
How does SpotHero credit work?
SpotHero credit is a prepaid balance used toward future parking reservations. Purchased credit never expires and applies automatically at checkout when you're logged in. Promotional credit typically expires one year after issue. Credit can't be used for Business Profile bookings or parking outside its country of origin.
What is the SpotHero Parking Guarantee?
SpotHero's 100% Parking Guarantee means if you arrive and your reserved spot isn't available, you'll receive a full refund or a replacement reservation. SpotHero investigates all claims and determines resolutions case by case. Some exceptions may apply, as noted at checkout.
Can I use a pre-tax commuter benefits card on SpotHero?
Yes. Add an accepted commuter benefits card in the SpotHero app under "Payments" and enter your work address. The card applies automatically to parking purchases within one mile of your registered work location. The IRS allows up to $340/month in pre-tax parking funds, resetting each calendar month.
How do I earn SpotHero referral credits?
Share your personal referral link with friends who haven't used SpotHero. Each time a referred user completes a qualifying reservation, you earn referral credits. Credits are capped at $200 within any 12-month period and expire 18 months after being issued. They can't be used on Business Profile bookings.
Is the SpotHero new-customer promo code available on the website or only in the app?
The new-customer discount code is app-only. It must be entered at checkout within the SpotHero app and will not apply when booking through the SpotHero website. Make sure you're logged into your account rather than checking out as a guest for the code to register.
How far in advance can I book parking on SpotHero?
Most SpotHero locations can be booked up to six weeks in advance. Select airport parking spots are available to reserve up to 364 days ahead. Booking early typically locks in a lower rate compared to drive-up prices at the same facility.
