How do I apply an Instacart promo code to my order?

Can I use more than one promo code on the same Instacart order?
No. Instacart doesn't allow combining promotions or credits on a single order. If you have multiple active promotions, the one with the earliest expiration date applies automatically. To use a different promotion, you'll need to place a separate order.
Do new Instacart customers get free delivery?
Yes. New customers get a $0 delivery fee on their first 3 grocery orders of $10 or more, provided all three orders are placed within 14 days of the first qualifying order. Service fees still apply. The offer is valid for new Instacart users only.
How much does Instacart+ membership cost?
Instacart+ costs $99 per year or $9.99 per month. A free 14-day trial is available and auto-renews to the paid plan. Annual members also receive Peacock Premium ($109.99 value) and New York Times Cooking ($50 value) at no extra cost.
Can I get free Instacart+ membership with a Mastercard?
Yes. Eligible US Mastercard credit or debit cardholders who aren't currently enrolled in Instacart+ can receive three free months of Instacart+. Enrolled cardholders also get $10 off their second qualifying order of $10+ each month. Purchases via Apple Pay, PayPal, or digital wallets are excluded.
How can EBT SNAP customers save on Instacart?
EBT SNAP customers who have placed at least one EBT order in the prior six months are eligible for 50% off Instacart+ for one year. New customers also get a $0 delivery fee on their first 3 qualifying orders. SNAP-eligible items are clearly labeled in the app.
Is there a way to avoid Instacart delivery fees without a membership?
Yes — two ways. Schedule a next-day grocery delivery on orders of $10+ and the $7.99 delivery fee is waived (excludes convenience, club, alcohol, and dollar stores). Alternatively, pickup orders carry no service fees for any customer, and the pickup fee is waived on orders of $35 or more.
Can I save money using store loyalty cards on Instacart?
Yes. Linking a store loyalty card at checkout gives you access to in-store member pricing from hundreds of retailers including Kroger, Costco, Albertsons, Food Lion, and Wegmans. Customers who use this feature save an average of $8–$12 per order. It's available to all customers, with or without Instacart+.
What do Instacart gift cards cover, and do they expire?
Instacart gift cards never expire. Standard gift cards cover items, tips, taxes, service fees, and delivery fees. Instacart+ Membership gift cards — available for $29 (3 months), $59 (6 months), or $99 (1 year) — can only be applied toward an Instacart+ membership, not order costs.
What happens if there's a problem with my Instacart order?

For orders that never arrived or were delivered incorrectly, contact Instacart Customer Experience directly. Refund and cancellation requests can be initiated through your account settings.
