Does Going offer a free trial?
Yes. First-time trial users can try Premium or Elite free for 14 days. The trial converts to a paid annual subscription on day 15 unless canceled. Cancel directly in your account at going.com/settings/membership-and-billing. Each account is eligible for one free trial only.
What's the difference between Premium and Elite membership?

How does the Going referral program work?
Share your unique referral link with friends. Each friend gets 20% off their first year of Premium or Elite. After three successful paid referrals, you receive a $100 Visa gift card, issued 45 days after the third qualifying signup. Your referral link's automatically included in Going's deal emails.
Can I get a discount on Going as a student or teacher?
Yes. Going offers a 25% discount on Premium membership for eligible students and teachers. Verification through an approved eligibility platform is required. Separately, full-time US students planning to study abroad can apply for the Going Abroad Scholarship, which awards $1,500 to two students each semester.
How do Going gift cards work?
Going gift cards cover 1, 2, or 5 years of Premium or Elite membership with no expiration and no fees. What are Mistake Fares and how do I catch them?
Mistake Fares are airline pricing errors listed far below normal rates. Going alerts Premium and Elite members immediately when one appears — they typically last only a few hours. Past examples include roundtrips to Chile for $63 and Australia for $354. Elite members receive Mistake Fare alerts from every US airport.
Can I upgrade from Premium to Elite mid-year?
Yes. Go to the Plan Selection page in your profile. Going automatically applies a prorated credit from your remaining Premium balance toward the Elite cost. For example, after six months of a $49 Premium plan, approximately $24 in credit carries over. No manual calculation needed.
Does Going offer promo codes or seasonal discounts?
Yes. Going periodically releases time-limited discount codes through its app and social media channels — promotions of up to 40% off have appeared during seasonal events. There's no permanently active sitewide Going promo code, so checking the app and following Going's social accounts is the most reliable way to catch active offers.
What is Going's refund policy for memberships?
Subscription charges are non-refundable once billed. Going doesn't issue prorated refunds for unused portions of a subscription. Refunds are at Going's sole discretion. For any billing concerns, contact support@going.com before disputing a charge with your bank or card provider.
How do I book a flight deal I receive from Going?
Going deals are booked directly with the airline or an online travel agency — not through Going itself. When you receive a deal alert, click through to the airline's site or a listed OTA to complete your booking. Booking directly with the airline also lets you use the free 24-hour cancellation rule if your plans change.
