How much can members save with a Discover Cars account?
Logged-in members access exclusive Member deals with up to 30% off standard rates. Select deals also include a free additional driver. These rates aren't visible to guest users, so signing in before searching is the easiest way to see the best available prices.
What is Discover Cars Booking Credit and how long does it last?
Booking Credit is a refund issued to your account instead of cash. It's valid for 3 years from the date received and can be applied across one or multiple future bookings on the platform. It covers Travel Package Services but cannot be used for payments made directly to the rental supplier at pickup.
Can I cancel a Discover Cars booking for free?
Yes, if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time, you receive a full refund as Booking Credit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup only refund the Full Coverage cost as credit. Bookings made less than 48 hours before pickup are non-refundable.
How does the Discover Cars Best Price Guarantee work?
If you find an identical booking cheaper on another site within 24 hours of completing your reservation, submit a claim via the Help Center with:Your reservation numberPick-up and drop-off dates and timesA link to the cheaper offer and the name of the other car rental brokerA screenshot that includes the date, car type, and rateIf verified, you receive the price difference as Booking Credit. What payment methods does Discover Cars accept?
Discover Cars accepts the following payment methods for online bookings:Credit and debit cardsPayPalApple PayGoogle PayNote that at the rental pickup desk, the card must be in the main driver's name and physically present. Cash, prepaid cards, and virtual bank cards are not accepted by rental suppliers.

Add Full Coverage during the booking process on the payment page. It covers the CDW and Theft Protection deductible and is typically cheaper than purchasing excess cover at the rental desk. Full Coverage can be cancelled for a Booking Credit refund up until your pickup time, even if the main booking is non-refundable.
