It's a one-time-use code, valid on US and UK departures through the end of 2026. It excludes holidays, private events, City Cruises Live events, and Boston Whale Watch cruises.
How does the City Experiences Rewards program work?
The program is free to join for anyone 18 or older. You earn 1 point per $1 spent on qualifying City Cruises purchases, and every 10 points converts to $1 off a future booking. Points activate within 24 hours of your cruise completing. Some experiences offer 2X bonus points. Points expire after 12 consecutive months of account inactivity.
Can children cruise for free on City Cruises?
Yes, in most US locations children under 4 cruise free. Kids aged 4 to 12 are eligible for a reduced child rate depending on the cruise type and port. On York Daytime Sightseeing cruises, a Kids Go Free family ticket is available for 2 adults and up to 2 children between the ages of 5 and 15, with children 4 and under already traveling free at no additional charge.
Are there senior or military discounts at City Cruises?
Yes. Military and senior discounts are available on most City Cruises departures. To claim the rate, select the senior or military ticket type at checkout when booking online. No separate code is needed. Senior rates for passengers 65 and older are confirmed at City Cruises Gananoque in Canada.
What is Ticket Assurance and is it worth it?
Ticket Assurance is an optional add-on purchased at the time of booking. It allows you to reschedule or cancel your cruise up to 2 hours before departure for a full refund, minus the non-refundable Ticket Assurance cost. Without it, cruises can only be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance and are non-refundable. It's not available on holiday, specialty, or partnership cruises.
Can I use a gift card and a promo code together at City Cruises?
You can use a digital gift card and a promo code in the same transaction, but only one promo code is allowed per order. Enter your gift card number in the Gift Cards section and your promo code in the Coupon/Voucher Code section at checkout. Both must be applied before completing payment, as discounts cannot be added retroactively.
Do City Cruises promo codes work on large group bookings?
No. Most City Cruises promo codes are valid only for parties of 1 to 19 guests. Events with 20 or more guests are directed to the group sales team, which offers dedicated rates, guaranteed seating, and complimentary event coordination. Yes. City Cruises offers pay-over-time financing through Affirm on orders over $50, split into four installments. What happens if City Cruises cancels my cruise?
If City Cruises cancels your departure, you have three options:Transfer to a different cruise date (price differences are refunded or charged accordingly).Move your funds to a gift card, which never expires.Receive a full refund to your original payment method within 3 to 5 business days.
